This holiday house is facing south has a private terrasse and garden.<\/strong> Each bedroom has its own shower room and the main living area mixes modern furniture with old stone walls (typical of Bordeaux). Chez les Grands-M\u00e8res is set up with all modern comforts (WI-Fi<\/strong>, comfortable sofa and beds, TV, fully equipped kitchen).<\/p>\n

The ground floor<\/strong> combined kitchen and living room<\/strong> on the ground floor<\/strong> with a large sofa, armchairs, TV, on the lounge side and on the other side of the room an open kitchen equipped with a fridge, dish washer, washing machine, stove, oven, coffee maker, electric kettle. The dining table seats 4 people comfortably.<\/p>\n

The first floor has two bedrooms<\/strong>. The master bedroom has a four poster bed<\/strong> : 1,4m x 1,9m with its ensuite<\/strong> ( shower, wash basin and toilet). The twin bedroom has two single beds<\/strong> of : 1m x 2m( they can also be joined to make a double bed of 2Mx2M) and its own small shower room<\/strong> ( shower + wash basin), On the landing there is a separate toilet<\/strong>. Both rooms have nice views overlooking the gardens and forest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the garden is a bbq and a garden table and chairs<\/strong> where you can enjoy your meals overlooking the garden. Chez les Grands-M\u00e8res, has a party wall to another holiday house : Le Pigeonnier ( 4 to 6 guests – Home Away listing number 8627926). Both houses have their own private garden separated by a 2m hedge.<\/p>\n

Finally you can enjoy relaxing around our secured heated *swimming pool : 12m x 6M<\/strong> shared between our 4 holiday houses.<\/p>\n

*large fenced off area and child proof lock system on the front gate, we heat the swimming pool from mid April to Mid October if the exterior temperature is above 18\u00b0C.<\/em><\/p>\n

Staying on a family owned vineyard, you will benefit from a free tour of the vineyard, winery in English and a free wine tasting of our 6 different wines (<\/strong> This visit and wine tasting takes about 1hour and a half<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Passionate about their region, Jean-Louis, Nola and Andr\u00e9a (their daughter) will be very happy to share their local knowledge and their favourites places with you to<\/strong> help you discover the best of the area.<\/p>\n

This is an ideal destination for a family holiday or to share with some friend<\/strong> in a spacious and self-catered holiday house. The beautiful green surroundings in the middle of the vines will help you to relax and experience life on a family Bordeaux winery.<\/p>\n

In the grounds there is a ping-pong table, a volley ball area and swings for the children<\/strong>. We also provide free bicycles to ride to our local bakery<\/strong> (800meters) for the croissant lovers or to go and get some oysters (from the Bassin d\u2019Arcachon) on Sunday morning<\/strong> in the village.<\/p>\n
