Our cottages
There are 4 self catering holiday cottages each with an internet access wi-fi, and a shared, secured swimming pool from which you can enjoy the views of the forest and the vines.
Our wines
Château La GONTRIE was created in 1984 by J. L. RIVES and his wife Nola, the vine age ranges from 5 to 24 years with an average of 18 years-on land traditionally used for wine growing.

“We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time courtesy of Jean-Louis and Nola. The cottage we stayed in (the converted stables) is beautiful, spacious and spotless. The hosts are super friendly and incredibly helpful guides to the local region, and make lovely wine to boot. The location itself is perfect for travelling to many old villages, chateaux and markets within 30 minutes drive, plus outdoor activities (forest zip wires, canoeing, etc), St Emilion, and the Cap Ferret beaches (with the best surfing in Europe) are only 1hr15mins away. Bordeaux itself is only 20 minutes drive away and is superb – beautiful buildings, restaurants, shopping and a great 50m swimming pool on the Rue Judaique. All in all, a brilliant place to stay, and we will be back one day for sure.”
