Château La Gontrie is located in the middle of the wine region known as the “Premières Côtes de Bordeaux”, on the right bank of the Garonne river.

The area offers multiple possibilities for sightseeing and entertainment, all within thirty minutes to two hours drive : Bordeaux, France’s most beautiful regional city.

Guided tours are available in English and the Maison du Vin offers wine tasting initiations.
On of France’s prime wine producing areas. This includes the regions of Pomerol, St Emilion, Sauternes, Graves, and the Medoc – visit the châteaux and taste the wine. The town of Cognac is little more than a one hour drive away.
